I know you all don't see me wearing a lot of heels (that will change, trust me). However, there's is one designer that, if I won the lottery, I would buy every single pair I could fit in my closet. Christian Louboutin is my all-time favorite shoe designer. He makes the most gorgeous sexy shoes that can work with everything from jeans and a t-shirt to the sexy LBD you wear on every first date for luck. I've yet to step into a pair of them, but I hear they feel heavenly. I would probably have a heart attack if I ever owned a pair. Anyways, enough of being a groupie. I want to show you some of my favorite pairs from the spring/summer 2010 collection. If I got a chance to even own one of these pairs, I'd probably wear them everyday lol (I'm half-kidding).
This was the first shoe I fell in love with from the Spring/Summer 2010 collection. I mean, the colors are fabulous. I could picture a loose boyfriend tee with some gray acid wash jeggings and a classic black Chanel 2.55. And for night, a mild shoulder padded black mini dress, a silver chain link necklace, and the same Chanel 2.55. Let this shoe be the focus.
"Gressimo" Peep Toe Pimp
I love the fusion of island colors in this shoe. I could see this with a great neutral shade dress or even a silk beige top and matching pencil skirt. Again, this is a shoe that deserves to be center stage.
"Bianca Sling" Pump
Amazing, just, amazing. I thought a slingback couldn't get any sexier, and it just did. Like, can you not see this with the most gorgeous black pencil skirt and corset top with an embellished clutch? Or even better, a red snakeskin clutch with gold accents? I love.com (that's a phrase I use).
"Tahiti" Peep Toe Pump
Okay, now, black and white is already a classic combination. Now, add a beautiful black flower accent to a classic white peep toe pump and you have a statement shoe. I mean, can you not see a white empire waist dress in lace with this shoe and delicate pearl jewelry. Beautiful.
"Pigalle" Desert Python Skin Pump
Animal skin is one of the hottest trends for spring/summer. It just gives you that sexy exotic island vibe that every woman needs in her life. This is a great shoe that can spice up a jeans and t-shirt look as well. It's even office appropriate with a pant suit and beige blouse, with just a peek of the python from the trousers (especially a wide leg).
"Let Me Tell You" Open Toe Booties
Let me tell you how much I love this bootie. It's obnoxious, it's gaudy, and I LOVE IT! Either wear an all black ensemble with it or a basic casual ensemble. Anything with sequins, embellishment, or studs (and like items) should be saved for other days (unless they are understated and neutral, then by all means go for it). I see this on Kim Kardashian with a black blazer, gray tunic, medium wash blue denim skinny jeans, and a Chanel or Louis Vuitton bag (no logos on the LV please).
"Fred" Oxford Flat
Now, you know I love CL heels, but these oxfords are bananas! I mean, they are pink mirror leather. The shine is just breath-taking to me. I would probably wear these everyday because they would be comfy and they would be CL shoes, lol. I mean, I just see this with vintage Levi's and a white silk blouse with a brown leather backpack.
I would like to end this feature with a quote from the man himself, Christian Louboutin.
